Delivery

 

 

Delivery charge is £5, £1.50 or included depending on the product. The max. delivery charge per order is £6.50.

However, we are operating a Click & Collect service if you’d prefer to come by the bar to pick up your order.

Click & Collect dates and times are on Friday’s and Saturday’s, we’ll email you with a collection time on receiving your order.

We process and post all orders on a Tuesday, please note due to the current circumstances we can’t estimate delivery times or guarantee any next day deliveries, please allow 10 days before contacting us to let us know if you haven’t received it.

By placing an order you agree that you are over 18 years old and legally allowed to buy and consume alcohol.

 

 

 

Shop items

 

 

All sales are final.

In the instance that a package arrives damaged please take a photo, reject the delivery and ask for it to be returned to sender. We will send out a new one to you as soon as possible or issue a refund.

Please recycle packaging and bottles. Bottle caps are not recyclable.

Allergens will be listed in the item descriptions. We cannot swap out items but if you wish to contact us to enquire about any of our products please use our contact page.

 

Gift Vouchers

 

Gift vouchers are non-refundable. We have three types of voucher; Online vouchers, Club & Event vouchers and Tastings for Two. Vouchers are all valid for one year. Vouchers cannot be used to purchase another voucher.

 

Online Vouchers

Valid only for items brought online via our Shop, including Private Tasting Experiences for Two, or towards one of our memberships.

Online vouchers cannot be used for Private Tastings booked for larger groups, Events or in the Bar towards a tab.

On check out, a unique voucher code will be created that will be emailed to you or can be sent directly to the person you’d like to gift the voucher. You can even select when it arrives in their inbox! However please note that the voucher will arrive with the recipient on the same hour it is purchased, i.e. if you buy the voucher at 5:30 pm and schedule it for email delivery the following week, it will be sent out at 5:30pm on the nominated date.

To redeem the voucher, the code will need to be input in the box asking for gift card information when checking out online. The voucher amount will be deducted from the total and any ‘change’ will be issued as a new voucher.

Please note if you would like to purchase a voucher towards one of our Ticketed Events, Private Tastings or towards a bar tab you will need one of our Club & Event vouchers.

 

Club & Event Vouchers

£1.50 postage.

When purchasing this voucher we will need you to provide all details of the recipient(s) including: Name, address, contact details and any message you’d like to include.

Your voucher will be sent to the address you provide upon purchase within 2-3 working days.

All vouchers are valid for one year only. Please see the expiry on your original voucher slip handwritten by us.

When using a gift voucher to pay at the bar you will receive any ‘change’ as another voucher.

Please contact us directly should you wish to use your voucher towards a booking or tasting so that we can apply your voucher to the purchase in advance of you coming. Club & Event vouchers cannot be used to purchase items online. Please see more details on how to redeem these vouchers at the bottom of this page.

 

Tasting for Two Vouchers

£1.50 postage.

This voucher will be posted to the recipient of the gift (or the buyer if preferred, please state in the booking details) as a voucher card.

To make a booking the recipient will need to get in touch with their name and the voucher code along with their preferred date & time to book the tasting.

We’ll then confirm the booking, subject to availability, and confirm via email.

If the date of the booking needs to be changed this can be done once within the boundaries of the voucher’s validity. Cancellations or date changes made within a week of the booking will not be granted or refunded.

 


How to Redeem a Gift Voucher

If you’ve been gifted a voucher to spend at The Whisky Club you can use this towards your bill at the bar, one of our brand tasting events or a private tasting.

 

Spending at the bar

If you wish to spend your voucher on drinks at the bar, please simply present your voucher when you come to pay your bill. Please note when you come in you will need to make sure you bring the slip of paper stapled to the gift-card with the Izettle voucher code printed, as it will need to be scanned. Any ‘change’ will be issued as a gift voucher.

 

Ticketed events

To use your voucher towards one of our tasting events please email us with details of the event you’d like to attend, giving us as much notice as possible. Please also include a clear photograph of your voucher displaying the voucher code beginning “IPG…”

Where possible, we will lock off a ticket for you and process your voucher as payment. We will invoice for anything outstanding from the ticket fees, payable on receipt, or issue any ‘change’ as a voucher which will be emailed to you. Your ticket will be emailed to you.

 

Tasting for Two 

If you have been gifted a private tasting for two i.e. A World of Whisky for Two, please email us with your preferred date and time to book, along with a clear photograph of your voucher displaying the voucher code. We’ll book you in subject to availability and confirm via email.

If you need to change the date of your booking you may do so once within the boundaries of the voucher’s validity. Cancellations or date changes made within a week of your booking will not be granted or refunded.

If you’d like to change the package you’ve been booked on to, or if you’ve not been gifted a package but would like to put your voucher towards one, you’re welcome to do so. You’ll simply need to email us with all details of your voucher and the package you’d like to book, as well as the date & time you’d like to come in. Provided we have availability we’ll book you in and you’ll be invoiced for any of the difference to confirm the tasting.
